100,000 colonists enter an alien solar system, hundreds of light-years from Earth, and they must work together and survive.

What Is This?

Landing Days, 2100 C.E. is a hard science-fiction, Neu Braunstein, roleplaying game. The game itself was designed to be rules-light and relies on players to craft and flesh out the game’s universe and storylines as a collective. This game was designed for large groups of players, usually ten (10) or more players in total. One (or more) players serve as the referee (REF), a neutral arbiter and guiding force within the game. All others act and play as player characters (PCs), who inhabit the fictional universe of Landing Days, 2100 C.E. The players, along with their REF and each player’s PC, will tell amazing, collective (and interactive) stories with the help of imagination, dice, roleplaying, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Playing the Game

Treat the universe of Landing Days, 2100 C.E. as if it were a real place. Lean into what you know from similar settings and situations. The referee is the neutral arbiter, who plays and acts as non-player characters (NPCs), and the REF also plays to see what happens as much as their fellow players do. Reasonable action happens as described by the REF, with help from her fellow players. Risks and consequences are adjudicated by the REF, with plenty of input from their fellow players. Trust in each other to be fair and respectful. Act in good faith with one another.

To begin playing Landing Days, 2100 C.E., players simply need to have some paper, pens/pencils, markers, this sourcebook, copies of the character sheet, and some dice: four-sided (d4) dice, six-sided (d6) dice, eight-sided (d8) dice, ten-sided (d10) dice, twelve-sided (d12) dice, and twenty-sided (d20) dice.

What Is a Neu Braunstein?

Unlike many roleplaying games, Landing Days, 2100 C.E. was designed to accommodate large groups of players and referees. Nevertheless, like many tabletop roleplaying games players are familiar with, player characters (PCs) play a tremendous role in shaping the game’s setting and story. This Neu Braunstein game differs in three (3) unique ways from traditional pen-and-paper, tabletop roleplaying games, though:

1). Players compete with one another, as individuals and as teams or factions, to collect much-needed victory points (VP).

2). Players work to develop their characters and their game’s setting through interactions with one another and their referee(s).

3). Players are encouraged to find creative (and often mind-boggling) solutions to the problems faced by their characters and their factions in Landing Days, 2100 C.E.
